do most guys stay with the fat wife and hope she will kill over with a heart attack and they can collect the insurance money , or are they scared to divorce

Excuse me, folks, but this guy doesn't have a wife. I doubt he has a gf.
Now, David, let me educate you a bit. You need it. Look around at the women you see who are overweight (politically correct people do not call others "fat."). Usually, these women are 45, 55 years old. Do you realize what that woman has gone through?
First, around 22 to 32, she is pregnant twice (sometimes more), and this changes her body chemistry drastically. Her body puts on weight to keep the child that the husband planted in her alive. (NOTE: nothing happens to the husband's body) Because of the love the woman has for this man, she is willing to carry his children (keep in mind that a woman carried YOU, too) and give birth to them. Having children changes a woman's body forever.
Then, after thirty, metabolism changes. Weight just seems to find you while you are sleeping (this happens to men, as well). Keep in mind that the woman is running after two kids and is lucky to have any money or time for herself to lose weight.
Forty is more of the same. A little more money now, but still no time. Kids aren't driving, yet, and they have all these games, boy scouts, tennis lessons, etc. and good old Mom is the driver (does any of this ring a bell with you....did your Mom do this?). Dad has business dinners and things of that nature that she must attend or put on. What Dad needs to succeed on the social end of things, Mom provides. She keeps him sexually happy, too. It's part of the job description.
Fifties and Sixties are the decades when the human body begins to show it's age. Wrinkles creep up and slap the stuffing out of you (if you smoked, they kick the stuffing out of you) and your body isn't nearly as energetic as it once was. Who feels like exercising?
Now, you wonder why these men stay with their overweight wifes? I'll tell you, she's had his children, she's supported his work (usually while holding other jobs of her own), she's raised his children, fed him well, and satisfied his sexual needs....quite well, thank you. So, he values her as a partner and a lover. THAT's why he stays with her... and why he will be devastated when she dies. The insurance money would be given back gladly to get a few more years with her.
Grow up. Learn some values. Learn about love...it isn't based on looks.

My husband stays with me he says its cause he loves me, and realizes that looks arent everything, and that about 20 to 30 years from now im going to be an OLDDDDDDDDDDDD woman, and if u dont love whats on the inside u'll never get anywhere in life.. because most mens equipment fails by then (obvious since the viagra stock is up lol) and neither of u will ever look the way u did the day u married each other , u both get older, and if u dont love someone for more then their looks u mine as well not bother to get married because if u do, then one of u is going to leave the other for a new model one day till u realize that not even the newer models want u cause ur an old azz .. then ur stuck old and alone.. so u better grow up and become more of a man if u want to get married and stay married

What a hateful question to think a man would sit there in hope his wife would drop dead and all because she is fat!!
I am an average size but if I got any bigger my husband would not leave because he loves me for me.I'm sure your parents taught you it's what a person offers from the inside that counts.Obviously that means nothing to you.If you are looking for the perfect woman, good luck, because I don't think you'll find her.With your attitude you would find fault with her also somewhere.
I only answered this question because I'm tired of all the "fat" people questions lately.I think it's really pathetic the way so many still see and think of looks first.Not true love.

LOL...Oh my gosh that is the funniest thing i have heard all day today. Well i am not fat but if i was i would hate to be married to you..LOL Ok here i go i think that a man either stays with his "fat wife" because he loves her for whats on the inside and not the outside "FAT" You would be surprised that most guys stay with there fat wifes also because they cant get nobody else so they wont get cheated on too...

men stay with their fat wives for many reasons...one because they love them and are committed to them...remember the vows for better or for worse?...remember the Bible tells the husband to love his wife on three occasions! So the first two reasons are that they love their wives and they are obedient Christians. A third reason is because they are just comfortable with their wives and have no reason to stray. If you married a fat woman to begin with...hey you chose a fat woman get used to it! If you married a woman that has gained weight and is physically able to lose the weight...start spending some time yourself at the track...let her start missing your time together and invite her along...sweet honey will lure her to you and she and you will benefit the weight loss in a natural way...if you have already done psychological damage by addressing the weigth gain...your efforts will have to be much greater in aiding in the success of her weight-loss. You have to become Mr. Wonderful...If you are not married and are just wondering...now you know!

my mom got fat after she had my sister..it was like 20 yrs ago. but my parents are still together. in love more than ever........
