NO. Conservatives are threatened by them because they challenge the bull$ht that neoconservatives try to say "we are the best, most fairest country in all the land!!""

Liberals look up to them because they treat their people with compassion and set a good example on how to put people first and corporations second, like a national health for example and more consideration about civic discourse.

The only thing I personally hate about Canada is how you beat baby seals and sometimes skin them alive! UGH! Stop it.

I would hope not. Canada has always backed up the US. declaring war on Japan a day before the US did, after Pearl Harbour . Our troops are in Afghanistan dieing as we speak because they saw an unjustified attack against an ally, and they are in the heavy s hit in the south fighting as we speak. We didn't get involved in Iraq as we didn't think it was a legal action and our public didn't support it. We went to Somalia and Iraq 1 .

I can't see why the Americans would hate Canadians other then ignorance to the fact that we are your biggest trading partner, share the worlds longest undefended border (at least we did ). Have military exchange programs for training.

Its sure that 2 different countries can't see eye to eye on everything, but we have always solved our differences with diplomacy and civility.

Also there are many family's who have members on either side of the border. I like Americans for the most part. I don't like some of your politics but then I don't have to live with the consequences of your vote. Not directly anyway

I think Canadians and Americans are pretty much the same. different political systems and justice systems but pretty much the same values and morals.

No. Most Americans probably aren't even sure where Canadians live. Americans who do know a little about our neighbors to the North are more likely to have positive or neutral feelings about them.

A small number of Americans do hate Canadians, probably because their favored hockey teams were beaten by a Canadian team (despite the fact that both teams had plenty of Canadian players).

Americans don't hate Canadians. Canadians, however, think there's no intelligent life form below the 40th parallel. What's up with that?
And why don't Canadians adopt the 24 hour day? I mean what's with your 20 hour day anyway?

I don't hate Canadiens, I'm not to fond of Quebec with that French thing they got going up there but otherwise I don't have any problem with them. You might try asking why Canadiens hate Americans, I know some people who frequently went there for work and they heard some of the S--- they were saying because they didn't know they were American

Americans love Canadians.

I live in Maine and visit often. I've found Canadians to be very down to earth and friendly. Most Canadians are also much more informed politically than the average US citizen.

Please don't listen to the hate spewing posters on here. They are the vast minority...

I don't hate Canadians at all, and I live in Minnesota, Canada's neighbor to the South. I'm sure there are some small groups that may be vocal in their hatred of Canadians - but they probably hate everyone.

No. We dont care for socialism and the limited freedom of religious expression up there, but we dont hate Canada or Canadians. Canada does a lot of things right and is one of many enlightened western nations.

I think most Americans don't hate anyone. Most are just to self absorbed in thinking they're the bastion of civilization and every one else is worth a little less than them.
