Well said Andreea!! There is no special meaning to any of the names. Its a basic social convention followed to identify a person with out confusion.
For eg: If a person has 2 kids, he needs some identifier to differentiate when he would like to call one of them. This is how this naming convention came into existence.
It doesn't matter if it is JACK or WALTER as along as you know it is the same person.

Anyone can call themself whatever they want . . . they are named at birth, adopt names for email purposes . . . but they are still the same person. A name helps us to distinguish one person from another, but how many "Jacks" do you think there must be in the world? And they are not alike, they live all over the world.
If someone calls them self "Bunny Foo Foo" and the person is 6'7" tall -- so be it. If it makes them happy, fine. Their choice whether I think it fits or not.
Not sure what you mean by ". . . not a soul nothing."

Indeed, Shakespeare said it best "that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet". Still, there are meanings for each name, however exotic it is. I personally think it's all made up out of boredom. A name is just a name. Something that individualizes to avoid big confusions. A social and subjective convention.

I have never known anyone to do that.
The only people I know who have changed their names are the ones who had horrible names to start with that did not suit them at all.
My name is Lisa and I have never had anyone tell me my name suits me-- but its an OK name. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.
I want people to remember who *I* am, what my personality consists of, not really my name.
