They are not extremely expensive, but they are of a decent quality. Liz Clairborne caters to a 30-something to 40-something demographic. If you are a little younger, you may want to look at 9 West purses. They are priced similarly, but the 9 West styles are a little trendier and younger looking.

More expensive than Target stuff. Good if you're a mother of a teenager or older.
Too mainstream for my taste. My mom has ton of it.

In the grand scheme of designer bags...yes they are good and no they are not that expensive....
