Missed pill on the day I had unprotected sex...possible pregnancy?

I'm on ortho-tri-cyclen lo. I missed one of the lt. blue pills on Friday, had unprotected sex that night. and again Sat nite but I had taken the pill. This is bad I know, but when will I be able to take a test and find out if I am pregnant or not

The chances of your being pregnant are low, but a small possibility exists. It's good that you recognize the importance of taking the Pill properly. If your period comes on time, don't worry. If it's late, you can safely use any drugstore test within five days of when your period should have arrived.

I have been on that before. As far as I know, you have to miss two or more days to really put yourself at risk for pregnancy. A very few women do get pregnant even while on the pill, so nothing is foolproof.

As for the test, I believe you have to be between one and two weeks post-conception before you can begin to tell if you are pregnant, depending on the type of test you get. You might want to ask your doctor for advice.

I have been on Birth control for the past 9 years. If you miss one pill and double up the next day you should be fine. That is only if you have good habits and you didn't mess up any other time the whole 7 days prior. Talk to your Doctor if you are that concerned

if you only missed one pill then you probably did not ovulate right away, in about a month take a pregnancy test and it will tell you, but there is really not a probability that you are pregnant... the ovulation cycle is not day by day, it is once a month and missing one pill is not going to mess you up.

You need to wait at least a week to find uot if your going to have a child and if so find out who the father is and make shure he is going to help take care of the child.
