I had lamb today but that's not my first choice as it's not my favourite meat and I'm not keen on mint sauce. I like redcurrant jelly though. A lot. Another minus point about lamb is you don't get anything extra with it.
I really like pork, you get crackling on that and it comes with stuffing but I'm not so taken with apple sauce.
Beef is nice (but not as tasty as pork), I love mustard and/or horseradish and you get Yorkshire Puddings too.
Poultry is lovely, especially chicken (but still not as nice as pork) and you get stuffing, cranberry sauce, which is yummy and sometimes even chipolatas.
I don't eat venison, ham, kangaroo, crocodile, swamp wallaby or dog on Sundays.
What do you think?

Not really Dawnee Babe, I don't eat them much anymore. Can't be bothered cooking them just for myself and I'm not cooking for the t.wats I live with.

The best is lamb, it has to be, the smell of it cooking, the sweetness and juiciness of the perfectly cooked pink meat, the tang of the mint sauce (much nicer if you make your own) and you can have stuffing and Yorkshire puddings with lamb, there are no set rules as to what you can and can't have. Man I have the full works when I make a roast dinner, there has to be meat, yorkies, 2 veggies, baked onions, stuffing and gravy. Chicken is a second favourite, I make herb butter and it flavours the meat as it roasts.

For me its roast pork with lashing of apple sauce, no chance of having any of the crackling in our house as our dog is sat drooling by the kitchen door waiting for it and she knows exactly when it is cool enough for her to eat, I do like a bit of roast beef with horseradish sauce, homemade Yorkshire puds and thick onion gravy, yum now I really fancy a nice Sunday lunch.

Thin T-bone stake, mashed potatoes smothered in butter and salt and pepper, asparagus and the little croissant rolls from the can again get out the butter, pumpkin pie with loads of whipped cream.
Like you I'm not into anything "gamie" either, but sadly I don't eat beef anymore, so I usually replace the T-bone with yes dare I say it Pork. If cook right a wonderful substitute.
Gee thanks now I'm really hungry!!!

Pork is good because of the crackling, although I'm a really crap cook and mine always turns out like rubber.
Beef is my favourite as it can be left nice and rare and bloody. So tender. Mmmm

Prime Rib is the best tasting, but Sirloin is also great.
And, I used to love when my mom made Rock Cornish Hen. That was amazing.
