Due to a new head scribe at DOOL last month, the characters of Jack and Jennifer will say goodbye this week for good, followed by Frankie at the end of this month, and Carrie and Austin, in November, Mimi and Sean. (The character of Sean has been recast, and Farah Fath decided to not renew her contract and leave early?) Due to budget cuts and changing storylines, will you miss these characters? I think it's unfair that they brought back Frankie last year along with Carrie and Austin? Their return has been cut short for almost a year.
As for One Life to Life, the characters of Kelly and Kevin are leaving by this November. Dan Gauthier was fired, and Victoria Tom decided not to renew her contract as well. Will you miss them?

Huge DOOL fan, been for more then half my life. My babysitter got me attached to it at 6yrs old and I'm 19 now. I am hoping that the rumors about Stefano returning are true, as it will make the show that much more interesting (I really miss the DiMera's).
I want to see as to what they are going to do though considering so many key characters are leaving in such a short time span; Jack, Jennifer, Phillip, Mimi, Shawn, Frankie, Patrick, Austin, and Carrie. It upsets me, but we'll see how they do it.
PS they really need to get rid of Chelsea, I can't stand her, I was so happy when Max dumped her. But she should have rotted in jail...

I am a huge DOOL fan and was saddened to hear of these people leaving. I was hoping that this time they would let Jack stay and live for something and help Jennifer raise the children and go back to being reporters like they used to. I wanted to see Frankie get with Billie.......that would be very interesting. Carrie and Austin could have been a great and continuing storyline for some time. As far as Mimi.......I was hoping that Rex would come back and they would build a life. It will take some time to get used to a new Shawn but got used to the new Belle. I wish that Chelesa character would get written out but then again she is in the running with Kate and Sammi for a villianess

I don't know if I can stand getting used to a new Shawn. It took some time to get to the new Belle... But Shawn I will miss him. Mimi's cahracter gets on my nerves so I will not miss her and Jack and Jennifer's story line is booring, so I won't miss them.. as much.
I wonder if Billie will elave with Frankie since their married in real life? I hope so cause seeing her with Patch makes me sick

Thanks for the update, I didn't know all of that.
I watch both of these soaps they are both my favs. I honestly don't think that I will miss any of them. I think that it is good to spice it up and change things once in a while. Do you know why Kevin (Dan Gauthier) was fired? If you do email me and let me know. I watch both of these shows all the time. And if they are getting rid of characters/actors which are they doing: ridding of the actors or the characters?

I won't miss Kelly and Kevin. I think he is really pitaful. Really I can't stand him. I will Miss Carrie and Austin though. I love them! I love soaps... so sue me!

thats complete bull what their doing with days of our lives! it isn't fair! shawn n mimi n belle were the reason i started watching and for them to take out jack and jennifer i mean their like the other Bo and Hope! speaking of Bo and Hope...all i have to say is 'STUPID CHELSEA'!!!!!
