Kids ask Santa for ponies and rockets all the time but, in their hearts, they know they're not going to get it. They just figure that there's no harm in asking.
Same with men. I don't think most women should break up with their husbands or boyfriends just because he's checking your reaction to a fantasy. I think it's common for men to wonder what it would be like to have 2 women at once.
On the other hand, if a woman is asking a guy if he'd be game for a 3-some, then she's probably either checking to see if he's secretly got that fantasy (so she can worry that he'd cheat on her if he could) or she's seriously interested in doing a 3-some.
I think a lot depends on what kind of 3-some. I know guys that would love to get their girlfriends to let another woman into their bedroom but who wouldn't dream of a 3-some including another guy. Too gay as far as they're concerned.
My significant other knows I'm not letting another woman into our action so, if he asked, I'd probably laugh and take it as the joke he probably intended it to be.

I would jump at the chance! I think it would be loads of fun! I would even help him pick the third person! As in..been there..done that. If your relationship is secure enough, a threesome isn't gonna matter because you know who your spouse is gonna come home to every night.
It is an awesome way for you both to have fun!

I would stop and ask myself some questions: what is my true moral position on this issue? How many times Am I prepared to do this? If I am for it then who will be involved? What if its another man - that he is having an affair with? What if its the other woman with whom he is having an affairs? Listen my dear there is no easy answer to this and it boils down to what is your gut conviction about this issue.

I would tell him h*ll no. I don't do threesomes. No, I wouldn't get mad if he asked, but he never has. I would not breakup just because he asked.

if your the wife say sure but with two guys, most guys that ask for a threesome are looking for another girl. That should shout him up.

Umm... you have to sorta' think "outside the box" with this one... I mean.. everyone has fantasies, wether you admit it or not. Either way, though... it'd naturally make someone think that they are becomming bored with the relationship or want someone else and are basically lookin' for your approval, in the nicest way possible, by giving you the opprotunity to join. At least they aren't technically "cheating" on you... but I still don't think I'd allow it.

I wouldn't even consider it.
And the suggestion alone would probably would be the beginning of the end of the relationship.

I would divorce her...unless she meant a threesome with you or Richard Simmons...then it would be ok.
