Well, the border wall proposed by many US citizens and portions of the US goverment actually increases sweatshop environments for undocumented workers in the US. What most US citizens don't realize is that many corporations lobbied for the border wall because it would increase their profits while decreasing worksite surveillance. US corporations are also outsourcing millions of US jobs to other countries because those countries don't have the same human rights regulations, and fair pay laws.

What a lot of US citizens see are the nice sites like this one http://www.humboldt.edu/~gbn2/ainger1.html that show the US has made some mistakes but it looks like the US is honorably working to end these practices. Corporate US and general US society are two different worlds and have access to two different sets of information. Below are two links:

1. An in depth research project into the Border wall and how it benefits corporate US and how corporate US intends to use the border wall to hide the abuse going on at the work site.
2. My thesis from two terms ago regarding the Hispanic immigration debate.

I do not respect people who give thumbs down in ignorance without even attempting to gain a new perspective. I did research because i was concerned about the US's economy, and i had cultural concerns as well. Now i am sharing those results.

Slave labor is something i think most people would agree they wouldn't want to have to endure. I know this about myself. So, i would not advocate for anyone else to be subjected to it.

"Sweatshops" is a socialist issue. It's an ignorant issue for reasons such as:
It quotes wages, but says nothing about price levels in those countries.
It presumes self-righteously that all societies must keep children in school til age 16 like we do

Generally there is nothing wrong with the working conditions. They "sweat" because they are in hot climates. They earn good wages in the context of their economy. How stupid to compare everything in US terms.
SHUT UP FOOLS.
