I don't think there is one quote in the whole world that stands above them all; just because something is very well known does not mean it is the greatest. Things have probably been said and have never been recorded that are wiser and more intelligent than those that have been recorded. Without all the other quotes, one quote cannot stand alone; it needs others to support it. Quotes need and support each other, and therefore I cannot say that there is one great quote that stands above the rest.
