I don't know if you have attended Drama College, but if not apply for an audition to join one and get properly trained. Many people think that they can act but you have to have just that little bit extra - that special charisma. When you are trained and have learnt your trade apply for as many jobs as you can. Study the Stage and other journals find out what is going on and try, try, try again. My son is an actor and I can tell you that it can be very lonely and very tough. Have a fall back for when you are not working in the theatre because there will many times when you are resting. However if it's your dream and you really want to make it happen I wish you every success.
