I'm not too sure about "emo" for them but I could defintiely see where you're getting that from. They have the emo sound but they look like your average rock band besides that.
Otherwise I'm not much of a fan of theirs. Their guitar lines are too easy and rather bland but their shows are good from what I've heard and seen. I know some people who are fans of theirs but not exactly crazy about them.

they are NOT indie, fool... franz ferdinand and the killers are indie... H.H. is definitely emo... but i do love them to death....
