The lines are parallel to the opposite side but the top and side is not perpendicular. The sides look a little slanted. Top and bottom is straight. And the top and bottom is longer.

it's a trapezoid. the area is found by multiplying the height of the shape by the sum of the top and bottom divided by two.
b*(h1+h2)/2=Area

Since you have many different answers from other people, I recommend you define the terms parallel and perpendicular. You need to define what a Parallelogram, Trapezoid,and any other shape that is given to you. You should also see what the geometric shapes look like. Do this by going to Google then type in the shape you want. You can look at each shape to see which one fits your shape.

It is a parallelogram
It's not a rhombus because the top and bottom are longer than the sides.

If the two sides are parallel, like this /=/ its a parallelogram, if they are not parallel, kinda like this /=\, its a trapezoid. Ok, bad diagrams, hope you figure it out
