I have a shared wireless connection at home .
some of the users sharing are connected by LAN wire to modem
They are consuming most of the bandwidth leaving me with a very slow connection ? Is there any way to equally distribute the bandwidth

The keyword you can search in order to find a solution to this problem is QOS or quality of service. Basically you will need to have hardware that supports this function and enable it. I hope this helps and GL :-)

It's not that they are stealing YOUR bandwidth. By nature, wireless connections are usually limited to 10mbps or 15mbps while hardwired LANs are usually 100mbps.

That's just the nature of the beast.

i don't think wireless router available for home networking provide this feature, to add this feature ,u will need to add a proxy in between ur router and Internet connection most probably a UNIX or win2k machine and define quota there,using QoS sort of things etc
