What time is considered fast in running for a 14 yr old in the 100 meter sprint? What time is average and what time is considered slow?

A student I knew once ran the 100mtrs once in 16seconds,. was considered fast,. but then,. I recall another kid was so fat he couldn't even finish the race,.. lol

under 12 seconds would be a pretty decent time, anything over is slow. the fastest runners in the world do it in under 10 seconds though

In Football they measure it by the 40 yd. dash. Really fast guys do it in 4.2 to 4.5 seconds.
