Don't let it get you down. They are immature and just plain stupid and most likely jealous that you don't have to let guys into your pants for them to befriend you. I'm the same way, I enjoy having a lot of guy friends, but its purely platonic

I think if your married or in a long term relationship, it is hard to have a close relationship with people of the opposite sex especially if they are single... Having said that, every situation is different and if these friends of yours are old friends from before you even got married and genuine friends, then ofcourse there is nothing wrong with it. People are always looking for something to gossip about, so as long as your husband is happy with your friendships then i would say, who cares what other people think.

I understand totally. I too have a lot of male friends simply because sometimes men are easier to get along with, however, you will have people that are ignorant to what frendship really is. I would ignore those people as long as your husband is ok with the male friends and he has met them. People will always have an opinion, live your life for you not them.

A lass, huh? I, as well have amassed friends of the opposite sex. People always assume that I am sleeping with them. The mentality of these people shines through with this judgement. I have decided at this point in my life, I don't care what people think and either accept me for who I am, or don't. I don't sleep with ALL the men I'm friends with......

Unfortunately , when you have friends of the opposite sex, everyone assumes there is "something going on ". I had it at a place I used too work . I was great friends with this lady , but often received comments .My advice is ignore the idiot`s , and show you are a better person and do not react to the mindless imbeciles.

I get it all the time, even when the friends happen to be close friends of my husbands! I chalk it up to jealousy that other girls can't fit in with the guys, and let it go. There is no reason to change your friends because of what other people think! Do what makes you happy! I've always gotten along better with the guys than the girls, and that won't change just because I'm married!

I KNOW exactly how you feel ! I am very fortunate to have a husband who knows these friendships are strictly that...JUST friendships.
When people tell me they think more is going on I ususally reply "Well at leaast I am getting some". They usually leave me alone after that... and my husband knows me and these men so he doesn't care what others say either!
You make the choice to let these people bother you... Now is the time to get tough and NOT let them bother you.... Be happy you have your men friendship's and be happy you don't have those other people as friends !!
Live by this > > > What you think of me is none of my business!
Start believing that line and life gets better ! : )

Yeah I get that a lot.The trouble is that I'm the only female around my age on my mom's side of the family,so growing up I had to at least to act like one of the boys in order to have someone to hang with.Which in turn caused me to feel more comfortable around guys and have more guy friends, because we shared similar interests. And because of that many of my bf's use to think I was messing with my guy friends, but the funny part was that some had girls they hung with and thought it was ok.I say don't let it get to you,you know that your faithful and as long as your husband doesn't mind its ok.People are always going to judge and if you start changing whom you are in order so they will quit talking then its never going to end and your going to loose own identity and uniqueness in the whole process and that is not worth it.So be you and be happy, and those that truly are about you will be happy right along with you.

yeah i been there. My bf dad thought that. He thought bc i was hanging out with my male friends that i was cheating on his son. I knew these friends way before i started dating his son. But he got over it after while but i still get talked about bc even though i married my bf i still get talked about by my in laws and other people bc i still have male friends i just get along with males better then females. My advice to is just try your best not to listen to them. They just do not understand how people can have the opposite sex as friends. Just remeber poeple always gossip it wont matter what you do if they want to gossip about you they will find something about you to talk about. so just live your life the best you can and try to block them out. I do that all the time. I know it is hard to block people out when you know you are being talked about but you know you wont do anything like that with your friends so just hang out and have fun. Let them waste their life worring all the time what others are doing. Dont waste yours because they are being ignorant.
hope this helps
