Mine is when someone uses something that belong soley to you, your very personal personal items.
My relative came to visit me from out-of-town.
I showed her around the place and where I keep things.
I came in one morning to the bathroom to take a shower and my personal washcloth was missing from the shower rack where I normally keep it.
Anyway, to make the long story short, she had used my washcloth.
I was furious.
I already showed this woman where I keep other washcloths, exclusively for guests.
Why did she have to use mine?
I ended up throwing it away.
I don't like sharing combs, brushes washcloths and towels.
I don't like mixing my laundry with family, not even my mother.
Am I right or am I acting funny?

Maybe you didn't make yourself clear about your personal stuff.

people should respect other people's pet peeves.
however you should also explain exactaly what they are, because everyone has different pet peeves,
mine are
I collect knives and swords (DONT F**KING TOUCH they are not yours)
do NOT mess with my stereo or tv, or how i have my video games hooked up to them. ask me how the system works and i will tell you.
do NOT leave video game controolers on the floor for people to step on.
but these are basic rules of courtesy..
the things that will really make mad are,
if you pass gas and then wave it at me or fan it in my direction,
(i am probally going to knock some teeth out of your head)
Chew with your mouth closed.
(eating can and should be accomplished quietly with no slurping or munching)
Stand 3 feet away,
( i can hear you fine from there, my bubble is the extent of my arm, stay out of my bubble)
dont touch me or jewlery that i am wearing unless i tell you that it is ok to do so...
(common courtesy again, dont freakign touch me)

People don't understand the concept of "my personal things." I will buy something for a person to keep them out of my stuff! I am laundry picky too and do a separate load. Some of us demand this level of privacy. You go girl! Hide that hairbrush!

No you're not acting funny...everyone has a "thing".
I just hate people who think they have everything figured out - when they really don't. I hate people who deny things that they don't believe is true when it is PROVEN TO BE TRUE. It's so effing annoying! And I hate racists & pretentious people! UGH!

You are right in being annoyed. I am neurotic when it comes to people being too close when I am eating. I dont like people to touch my food, or get too close to it.

you r right, but not b/c it is a pet peeve. it's just GROSS! i'd be angry too. My pet peeves are when ppl chew gum loudly, talk/laugh loudly, and ppl who can't take a joke. those are easy ways to piss me off, lol
