I think Gerrard is quality!, and I'm a Utd fan ,and I obviously have my appreciation for Ronaldo for that reason, but be serious! Anyone who says Gerrard and Ronaldo doesn't know about football on the world scale. Try actually watching a few games that Kaka and Messi play in at club level, you only see them for a couple of games every 4 years most of you, and then that's usually only if England play their respected nations.
Kaka and Messi are phenomenol. They are both so much more mentally advanced and aware on the pitch.
