You prob just lost the shortcut icon on your desktop to get it back just click on my computer icon on your desktop if it is not there go to tray start my computer then click on c: then click on folder program files then click on limewire when your in the limewire folder right click on the limewire.exe file and select sendto desktop as shortcut
easy way maybe it is still in the tray click on start then programs look for limewire do the same thing rightclick on the limewire exe and send to desktop

If I were in the same situation, I'd run a "Search" first. Click start then Search - enter: Limewire. Only 1 of 2 things can happen. The search will show you where it is. Right Click on it and send to Desktop (a shortcut will be created).
Second scenario, the search does NOT turn up anything. Then, you will have to re-install it. I suggest you download the full install.exe (executable file) and save it to a folder (you can name it Limewire) in your hard drive so you will not have to download again should the program "disappear" in the future.

Hmm...
One way is to:
1. Go to "My Computer" on your Desktop
2. Go to "Local Disk"
3. Go to "Program Files"
4. Look around for "Limewire"
5. Find and click on the Limewire icon (or pic) labeled "limewire.exe"
6. IF you find it and IF you want to, right click it and select "Create Shortcut"
7. Drag it onto your Desktop by holding on to it and moving it on to the Desktop
If that's too difficult just uninstall (remove) it...by:
1. Go to "Start"
2. Go to "Settings"
3. Go to "Control Panel"
4. Look and click on "Add/Remove Programs"
5. Find "Limewire" in the list
6. Press "Remove"...there should be a pop up
7. Then just keep pressing "Next" and eventually "Finished"
8. After uninstalling it, download "Limewire" again at www.limewire.com
WARNING: Uninstalling (Removing) Limewire may cause loss of downloaded files.

Well theres two things u can do. My initial reaction is that limewire has been uninstalled from your computer involuntarily (on accident). To check if it was do this...
start button-->control panel--> add or remove progams...
when your there check if limewire is on the list that will pop up after a few mins. If not, that means ur limewire is gone forever.
That means u'll just how to install it again from the internet...
If it is on the list though, go to
start-->my computer or my documents-->click search (its on the top of the screen)--> and search for limewire using that
it should show u wehre it is
