I don't think it should matter if a guy is gay or not when it comes to how he wants to celebrate his birthday. If a boy wants to celebrate his sweet sixteen, let him. I imagine, though, that his celebration would be somewhat more masculine than the average girl's celebration. (I'm imagining maroon instead of pink, and splashings of plaid.)

I've done a little Internet hunting. Someone suggested that a boy's Sweet Sixteen might model itself on the Bar Mitzvah, for Jewish boys turning 13.

Why don't you ask them? I doubt it, though, because most guys that are 16, whether gay or not, are still living at home with their parents, most of whom have no idea their sons are gay. Can't you just imagine a teenage boy saying, "Mom and dad, can I have a sweet sixteen birthday party?" I don't think so.....

ummm....i don't think so. On "My Super Sweet Sixteen" the ppl who had the parties were rich straight guys. Well, one of them might have been gay, i don't know.

This would depend on if you are gay or not, if you are a gay man I would understand the question, if your not, and you are making a joke you should stop.

I think the ones on this site who poke fun at gay people by asking silly questions should get a life, I am not gay, I just think people are people and should be left alone!

only if you are younger than 18. Straights do this, Gays leave children alone.

I guess if they WANT to, they can. But most guys don't celebrate their birthdays at all (I'm a girl, and I don't).
