I have the most beautiful little boy, he's 7 months old. the only problem is that his dad has nothing to do with him, since before he was even born. he's never even seen him. and refuses to talk to me. i can't afford a lawyer, so i'm slowly working with family services on getting child support; but honestly i don't want anything to do with him, he's not the best guy in the world and he has another son that he has nothing to do with. it's just alot of trouble that i dont want to deal with. what do i do?

Why would you want to get involved with someone like this? Especially knowing he already has another son that he doesn't want to take responsibility for.
Stick with family services and keep on them.
And learn from this experience.

My son hasn't seen his dad in 4 years. And before that it wasn't anything regular. He only lives 30 minutes away! I get some child support very little. But I really don't care about that. Sometimes I feel sorry for my son. But we really are better off without him. My son is starting to realize that his dad is never around. The other day he said his dad is stupid because he never comes around.

If it is allot of trouble that you don't want to deal with then you need to think is he even going to pay child support if he is ordered and is it worth going through all of this to get it? As long as you know he will pay and help provide for your son then deal with the crap and stick it out, but if he is such a dead beat that he will try to beat the system and not pay then just forget you ever met the piece of **** and focus all of you energy on your son.

please take care of that little baby boy and rather u want anything to do with the father or not, make him pay child support. it isn't right to make those sweet babies and leave u hanging holding the bag..sound like if he didn't care about the baby before u giving birth to it he will never care,, which i find it ver y sad... your first worries should be making sure that sweet child has everything it needs... let the family service milk him for everything he has. that sweet baby didn't asked to be brought into this world just because his daddy doesn't want to take responsibilities of his duties... the bastard needs his balls cut off so he can't do any other woman that way...Sorry but that's how i feel

Exactly what youre doing. Hopefully you put his dads name on the birth certificate so child support will be easier to get, but youre on the right track but next time be sure taht who you sleep with, is one you want to be the father of your child. If you do get support,chances are he will get visitation rights if he wants them Good luck

Just love your son and move on....he may come into your life again one day when he feels he's ready...deal with that then...enjoy your son they grow up so fast...

girl all i have to say that my cuz is the same way with her 2 months old baby and this baby loves to eat and she don't have the money but she yrys to do wat she can
