I'm writing a story too, but it's not about coming to America. It's about coming to Jesus, and my title didn't come until much later in my writing . I have been writing it for years, just recently the end of the book came to me ,and it could easily be seen also as the beginning. It too is filled with sadness and great joy.

don't call it coming to america because there's some sad film called that with Eddie Murphy in it. please don't watch it out of curiosity.
depends on the theme, really, american nightmare?
wish i was there? (at home)
how old were you? i always floated 'growing pains' as a title
'i am a amerikkaan' spelt just like that, play the irony card!!!!
good luck love
