Metallics always look good with darker skin. You can get some really nice loose eyeshadow in gold that will bring some depth to the palette... For your cheeks, I find that lighter pinks look really unnatural and the colour creates disparity with your natural tone. If you go for something with a deeper brown base, it should meld better.
To create the appearance of distance between your brows and eyes, you can use a beige or white to highlight under your arch. To contrast the gold, try a deeper shade of brown (but one that also shimmers so it doesn't look like it's too heavily applied). A good combination of these fall colours are in L'Oreal's Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Quad in Earthscape that costs around $8.
If you have dark hair, eyebrows and lashes, and you're wearing bronzer, eyeshadow and blush, then I suggest leaving your lips natural, to prevent looking too made up. Maybe just a translucent gloss to add shine.
I can't believe I went on that long about make up! I'm tempted to erase the whole thing.. which would be nothing to mourn over, trivial as it is!! I'm sure you're most beautiful when you're all natural, hon! But, if you're going out and want to glam it up.. you have my suggestions!!

Some great combinations would be from this season's Tarte cosmetics line. They have very flattering cheek and lip colors in soft pink, watermellon and rose colors. You can also try some of the nice gold metallic colors in Bobbi Brown's new fall line. She also has a very flattering limited edition palette called Chocolate which has lip colors, cheek and eye and nails colors that are all in the soft warm cocoa, lavender-based brown and dark cherry red based brown families. For an inexpensive line, try meet mark, which always has nice red and wine/plum colors each season for lips, eyes and cheeks.

i would do purple toned eyeshadow (with a trio) then maybe just a peachish blush. the more dramatic you do your eye with the purple, the less you need on your lips. i have a darker skin tone, but purples and burgundy colors go well with brown eyes.

that's malarky about makeup being bad for you.....as long as you are using a good moisturizer with sun protection, it protects your skin!!!! My daughters in their 30's don't wear base just because you probably still have a glow about your skin....but they still buy that glow look that goes on the skin and shiny lip gloss...no eyeliner at all and black mascara.....maybe soft browns and greys on eyelids......just a granny speaking.........

Makeup is not good for your skin. I never let my "associates" wear it unless it is to cover up marks left from Pimp slaps and the like. Unless you're in the business, I would suggest you avoid it. Whatever you gain short term, will not make up [pardon the pun] for the long-term skin damage.
