I would say that anything that involves using the scientific method to prove its factuality is a science. You can scientifically figure out most phenomena in this world from why you pet comes when they hear sounds that resemble opening a can of food to things like why the sun is so bright. Why you have to eat, why you stand and don't fly out into space, science is simply using logical methods to prove why things happen, and can be used to predict what will happen, given the same situations.

to me, science is the study of what anything in the universe does, looks like, or behaves.
