actually, it will really depend on who you ask.

see, the game will be so different and whatnot, i like the graphics in wind waker, but this will be like "wow"

i'm going to propose, instead, a comparison, to help you understand what would most likely happen.
---------
firstly, its important to note that there are generation gaps.
---------
i am in the generation that believes that Final Fantasy IV and VI are better than VII, but gamers a few years below me, for the most part, would argue that VII has better graphics, and they would even go so far as to lie and say its a "great game". those very FFVII fanboys even have some among their numbers that say they can't play earlier games because of the graphics.
---------
now, take your typical 22-19 year old crowd, and pit them against your typical 19-16 year old crowd. the younger crowd would claim that FFVII wasn't too good, but that FFX was very good, some even going so far as to lie and say it's a "great game". these very same younger gamers even have some among their numbers that would say that it's too hard to play FFVII because the graphics are terrible, and wtf is up with the graphics on the earlier games?
-------

i think this comparison to final fantasy will help you understand how link to the past will always be the best zelda to me, followed closely by OOT, and then wind waker

years from now, there will be a newer zelda game, that will have people wondering, "will this be the new 'twilight princess'?"

so, in conclusion, your point of view stands a good chance of going along with current events

Ocarina of Time is considered by many gaming mags as one of the best games of all time(usually rank between 1-5 in polls), so no. The graphics may exceed those of O.o.T, but the gameplay may not live up to the expectations. Then again, the many zelda games that have come out have become classics.

Well I'm pretty sure almost no one has ever really played twilight princess before so it's still too soon to make that comparison. Not only that but you're comparing it to one of the most nostalgic Zelda games ever (next to a link to the past). How can you expect us to compare a game that hasn't even come out yet to one of the most nostalgic Zelda games ever?

As long as the new game's storyline is not another simplistic good-guy-vs-bad-guy / save-the-princess storyline, then Twilight Princess will be better than Ocarina of Time.

maximum folk say ocarina of time is yet i love twilight princess a lot extra! i imagine i love the pics because i dont like the too lively look yet i also dont like the crappy undesirable high quality look which i imagine TP matches inbetween there. yet everyones opinion is diverse and that i dont fairly imagine each person is incorrect

In my opinion:Hell yeah. Besides if nintendo keeps it promise about being able downloading N64 games to the Wii, you can compare the two yourself
