Why has no one sued Canseco? Cause he was right! And in his book he says that McGuire took steriods the whole time he was at Oakland, which means he always took them. Anyone who doubts that Bonds, Sosa and McGuire, and many others of the last 15-20 years didn't take steroid is not rational. Including pitchers, infielders and probably some bat boys. The records are what they are. Set in stone. Are you gonna put astericks beside the spitball pitchers records? Read about Howard, and you'll believe he's clean. Just like Thome, Junior, Pujhos and others. The steriod guys, as Canseco writes, stand out, just like the guys of the WWF. The records will stand, but for us real baseball fans, we know what's real. I hope he at least ties Maris, who should be in the Hall Of Fame by the way.

I think they did take steriods, but that doesnt matter. Everybody was rooting for McGwire and Sosa on their Home Run chasing year. Nobody questioned that they took steroids until now. Nobody cares about Barry Bonds, because we all know he used steroids and Ryan Howard may not even pass 61 long balls which he more than likely will, but you cant say just yet. If he does, which im hoping he will, then in my book he will be the legit single season homerun king. My opinion doesnt matter, niether does anybodys because the record is in the book and theres no changing it. Barry, Sammy, and Mark will just feel like queers because somebody else broke the record legit. And if I were to say anybody to pass Bonds' record of 73, then i would probably pick Ryan Howard in the next few seasons, David Ortiz, or Albert Pujols.

American baseballs homerun king is Hammerin' Henry (Hank) Aaron. the eastern baseball Homerun king is Sadaharu Oh (the spelling ought to be incorrect). Aaron will in all risk be exceeded by potential of Barry Bonds next twelve months - love him or hate him.

You never said anything about single-season records. If you want those, I guess it would depend on whether or not McGwire and Bonds took steroids.
As for career, Hank Aaron hit 755 in the MLB, and Sadaharu Oh hit 868 in the Japanese League. Aaron retired in '76 and Oh in '81 (i think), so they retired way before steriods came out.

the homerun kings:
Hank Aaron- most homeruns all time
Babe Ruth- most homeruns in less games all time
Roger Maris- most homeruns in one season
Babe Ruth- most homeruns in less games in one season
Ryan Howard could break Roger Maris's record if he does it in the same amount of games for one season!
no comment about Bonds, Sosa, and, McGuire!

I think all three of those guys took steroids. However, it was never proven and until it is then they deserve their records. Barry is the leader like it or not.
