Could also say which city is more dangerous. At least half of chicago proper, and ALL of Detroit, is so high-crime that no one,
with any modicum of respect or decency, would be caught dead there. My vote is Detroit, cause Chicago has this really narrow
4-mile wise strip that you see white yuppies and white kids from
the suburbs hang out. The city as a whole(chicago)is a hell-hole,and Mayor Daly spends all the money on the lakefront, while
the west and south sides rot to hell.

Detroit is worst because it has no people flow.....NYC isn't as bad as people think because there is always someone walking around, at all hours. Detroit has no one walking around, at any hour, unless they have bricks or bats in their hands.....Detroit also has the meanest whites, mostly in the suburbs. I guess living near Detroit makes them mean by osmosis. I also guess that the auto industry laying off every other person in last few years might have a bit to do with it....that's why the meanest people
of all live in Flint. Flint is god's little hellhole
on earth. Lifelong Flint residents should get
purple heart awards! LOL! Watch "Roger
and Me", relaize that Flint is twice as mean
as it was in '89 when the movie came out, and you'll see what I mean.
Chicago's south side and south suburbs
might come close to Flint. Go to Harvey,
Ford Heights, or Chicago Heights and see what I'm talkin' bout!

Pretty much all of upstate New York Except for the finger lakes is a rotting hell-hole, Yes, Rochester, Syracuse, and Bullalo are truly the most godforsaken,
falling-apart, jobless(Kodak cut back half of its staff) places on earth. Only the "orangemen" basketball team give the area anything of note to cheer and be happy about1 And yes, the US side of niagara is a s**thole indeed, such a piece
of tourist-trap, jobless, pollution-filled dung that it makes detroit look pussy in comparioson. God pray for the souls of those jobless, over-weight, hopeless people of upstate New York indeed!

Oh, I forgot, and Buffalo lost every superbowl(3 or 4)that it was in........now thats a f***D up loser city if ever there was one. OJ simpson the murderer played his best years there, so a murderer is your greatest sports here.....AND, the Sabres
never won a d**N thing in all these years.
What in God's name is the franchise still doing there, and who in the name of lackawanna has two cents to rub together
to go to a game? I mean, the whole town
is out of work...you have to go to gary,
indiana to see something as decrepit as that, but even they have casinos! Even Gary has a FEW jobs! Buffalo is truly
hell on earth as we know it!

Well Detroit does have the farms in the inner city. But its streats are in absolutely horrible condition. The Southside of Chicago is actually pretty good. It's mainly the stretch near the green line that gets the really bad rep. For the west side also, the green line goes by the pretty bad stretch. The Northwest and Southwest sides tend to be middle class immigrants (especially Polish). The Southeast is middle class black. The lakefront is pretty diverse, aside from the poor black section north of Hyde Park, and the yuppie Lincoln Park.
The mayor is from the south side, so you can see where some of the money is pumped in to brdigeport.
Chicago also still has its wealthy people living there.

Buffalo, Rochester and Niagara Falls are meaner both of those pu$$y cities, especially Chicago where gentrification makes even the sh!tty neighborhoods look nicer than our suburbs. Come to the East Side of Buffalo and see what the REAL mean streets look like, you fu(king ******. Detroit is the meaner of those two cities but it's still soft compared to Buffalo.
The person above me doesn't know what the hell she is talking about. NYC is nowhere NEAR the roughest city in New York State, per capita (look at the crime statistics if you don't believe me). Bunch of fake bloods (and some crips, though not as many) roam around that city thinking they're so tough. I walked through Harlem and the South Bronx and wasn't fu(ked with like I get fu(ked with all the time here in Buffalo, until my guns come out. But when those downstaters come HERE for college, they get a taste of reality. New Yorkers -- blacks, whites, latinos, Asians, everybody -- all get their asses beat in Buffalo if they act ignorant about this part of the state. And our Italian mafia was much more ruthless than New York City's ever was. Do some research and find out. So shut the fu(k up when it's obvious that you don't know what the hell you are talking about, *****! I should pimpslap you. People from NYC are murdered here all the time because our hustlers don't fu(k around. And we don't put up with snitches or cops like some of these other pu$$y cities do.
And the person above that last ***** is even stupider for mentioning Toronto. GTFOH! The only time there are mass killings in Toronto is when New Yorkers come there for Caribana and punk you pu$$y Canadian ******* on your own turf.

I lived in the Detroit area, and now residing in the Chicagoland area. I love it here! The people are far more personable and there are far more jobs than Detroit. Chicago is far more diverse than Detroit. While every city has its "thing" about it, I must say that Chicago has lots more good things about it than Detroit.
Detroit is a hellhole, full of ghetto-minded individuals, including the Mayor himself. Crime is bad! Insurance rates are high! Housing is poor! There are very few jobs there. I prefer Chicago.

Yeah, the Mexicans live on the West Side and the Blacks live on the South Side, but it doesn't rot to Hell. If you say that in either of those places you could get shot. I used to live on the West Side. The policy is just mind your own buisines. If you do, they're okay with you but if you don't, they'll do something to you. But I think it just depends on where you go in Chicago or Detroit.

As for now we probably would end up in any city that is mean.
I have never been in Chicago but I only know history.
I probably would not want to end up in NEW YORK I hate it there. But that is my opinion.

Detroit is a culturally devoid, crime infested, welfare supported, baby-mama, dilapidated, filthy, rotting, toilet of a cesspool. It is BY FAR the most nauseating city I have ever seen!
