YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE MORE AFRICAN AMERICAN IN YOU THAN ANY OTHER BLOOD LINE. MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTER IS HALF WHITE AND HALF AFRICAN AMERICAN. IF I'M GIVEN CHOICES I CHECK OFF BOTH SPOTS BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT SHE IS, HALF BLACK, HALF WHITE. I DONT KNOW WHY IT HAS TO ALWAYS COME DOWN TO RACE. WE ARE ALL AMERICANS AND SHOULD BE PROUD OF IT!

I hate those questions that they put on applications! My daughter is part white and Filipino, so I never know what to put down. You know what I always end up doing? I leave it blank!

You would think that, in this day and age, the companies that ask for that information would realize that not many people come from parents of just one race.

you are 1/2 black, 1/4 indian & 1/4 white ... you can choose other or any of the 3 or all of them ... its odd how they ask those questions when everyone is so mixed.

Just check off the 'other' box. It's what I do. my father's family is English and my mother is Puerto Rican. You are mixed, but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter. You're a person, just like the rest of us :)
