for dwarf fruit trees to bear fruit? I just ordered six of them from Stark Bros and noticed they did not mention anything about how long it will take.

Places like Stark Bros generally send 3-5 foot bare root trees. These trees will need a good 2-5 years to start producing fruit. It would take even longer for standard size trees but Dwarf trees don't take as long. Peaches will probably be the first thing you get in 2-3 years, that's if you purchased a peach tree. Apples next then cherries. Cherries fruit on older wood and need the extra time. Plums and apricots also take a little longer than peaches. Pears about the same as apples. At first you will just get a starter crop and only a few pieces of fruit. Every year after that you will see more and more fruit. Best of Luck!!!

If you plant them in the fall and if the conditions are good, chances are that it will bloom and have some fruit the next growing season. It does, however, depend on the size and maturity of the tree when you received it.
