It's not easy, You got to come up with a really original idea that can sell, try get attention on the net first. If You can get some attention there You have somrthing to build on. The big companies get swamped by prospiring artists and rarely has the time to check out all contributions.You may want to check out http://www.digitalwebbing.com/ and their talent search

You better be able to draw likes theres no tommorrow and know how to ink. Anyways just go on the comic studios website ad they should have info how to get your worked looked at.
