Beauty pageant contestants, in attempts to create a more alluring frontal appearance started using the duct tape to pull the breasts together causing the ever so sexy cleavage. Pageant rules early on did not hold well to plastic surgery and body alteration so taping became a popular resource, The likes of Vaseline on the teeth and hemorrhoid cream under the eyes also came as pageant tricks.
Then Drag performers started using these techniques...and with the right amount of tape applied in the right area, any guy can sport a bust with ample cleavage.
To remove the notorious sticky tape is still a troublesome situation...but with beauty also comes a little pain, such is the price....=)

Using duct tape to tape your breasts together is an old technique used for dresses that have a very low back. I'm a fashion designer and I have personally had one of my models use this method. She is very top heavy and there were no sides and no back to the dress, so she had no options. Now that there are a lot of bra options such as the NuBra, two bra inserts with a clip in the middle to enhance cleavage. When you get sweaty, they do have the potential to slip around, and they also stick to your breast, so it probably hurts just as much as duct tape to take off. Using duct tape is practice because duct tape is heavy and sturdy to hold up your breasts. Pretty much, anything that you have to stick on your breasts is going to hurt like hell when you take it off. You can use soap and water and scrub like heck too, or you could try some rubbing alcohol and it might come off a bit easier. Hope this helps!

Don't use duct tape, if you're thinking of it... Use the stick on bras... They'd work much better than duct tape, considering they're actually made for such things..
