Dial-up = NO because it uses the phone line to connect to the net
DSL / ADSL / WIRELESS = YES because they do not need telephone line to connect the Internet.

dear member,
plz be more specific r u using dial-up or dsl tell me in details if yes in dsl then ignore phone service and if u have modem and dial up then u cant cancel it!!!!!!!!

not if its dial up, but if you have DSL and you didnt cancel it and its on the same company, yes you can use it and same as if its cable you can use it without phone line
