Tom is a pilot. Zeno is a doctor. Rosa is a farmer. Was there some trick that I'm missing?

Well, "neither he [Zeno] nor Rosa is a pilot" pretty much says flat out that Tom's the pilot. Since Zeno knows nothing about farm animals, he's probably the doctor, and that means Rosa is the farmer.

There. Tom, pilot, Zeno, doctor, and Rosa, farmer.

The only thing definite is that Tom is the pilot.
The fact that Zeno can't tell a pig from a hog
does not exclude him from being a chicken farmer
or a dairy farmer etc. So it's ambiguous as to who's
the farmer and doctor.

First part tells us Zeno's not a farmer.
Neither Zeno or Rosa is a pilot.
So Tom has to be the pilot.
Rosa has to be the farmer.
Zeno has to be the doctor.

Zeno is not a farmer, and he's not a pilot, so he's a doctor. Rosa's not a pilot or a doctor, so she's a farmer. Tom, who's left, is a pilot.
