the look of it was quite basic just an overtop view of an island with lots of hexagons... you had troops and move into other hexagons to change into your colour and build forts?? I think it began with sl,, not sure though.

It's called SLAGBASTARD and was made by Waddingtons from 1967 to 2004, when it became extinct.
