Medusa was a monstrous female character whose gaze could turn people to stone. She had sex with (or Raped by) Poseidon in Athena's temple. Upon discovery of the desecration of her temple, Athena changed Medusa's form to match that of her sister Gorgons as punishment. Medusa's hair turned into snakes and her glance would turn all living creatures to stone.

Narcissus was a lovely lad who liked to look at himself. Poor Echo, who used to babble like a ninny, was stuck only repeating the ends of everyone's phrases. She loved Narcissus, but he only loved himself. He looked at his reflection in the water until he leaned in and drowned and then he was turned into a narcissus (daffodil variety.) Narcissism was a word coined by Freud to describe someone who is entirely too self-centered and has too high an opinion of him- or herself. Bad Narcissus! A nice flower, though.
Pygmalion was a sculptor, a wonderfully talented one. He sculpted a woman so beautiful that he fell in love with her. He mooned over her, dressing her up like a woman, talking to her, kissing her. He prayed to Aphrodite to bring his Galatea to life, and in a rare moment of sympathy, she did just that. Usually, Aphrodite plays nasty tricks on those who ask favors of the Goddess of Love (much like the Devil in _Bedazzled_), but this time, she took pity on the poor sculptor and brought Galatea to life and she and Pygmalion lived happily ever after. But that rarely happens in Greek mythology.

Well, I can give you the basic story of Persephone and Hades?
Persephone was out one day and came upon the Narcissi flower. Her curiousity for flowers getting the better of her, she decided to pick it. Her mohter Demeter saw this and tried to stop her, but it was too late. Picking the flower alerted Hades, God of the underworld, and he came above ground and snatched her, taking her down to the underworld with him. Demeter was so striken by this, that winter fell upon the land, and nothing grew anymore.
Somehow, word of this came to Hades, and he decided to come above to speak with Demeter. They both then decided that Persephone should spend 6 months with him, and the remaining 6 months above ground with her mother, and supposedly, this is how we got the warm seasons and the cold ones.
Probably more to it, but it was all I could remember off the top of my head.
