Does anyone think it has anything to do with Aaron Brooks?

We were playing other team's backups... Brooks is a no good piece of crap... The O-Line couldn't open a hole big enough for a mouse to fit through, so it makes Lamont Jordan pretty much useless... Plus Brooks is bad WITH pass protection, but they can't give it to him, so he is worse... If he COULD pass, maybe Randy Moss could do something... He's still good, but he's lost that explosive acceleration he had... He still has a good top speed, but he can't get there as quick... Oh, and that jackass Jerry Porter isn't playing cause he wants to be a teams number 1 receiver... Maybe he should PLAY and show he deserves it...

The Raiders have always been an up and down team. They reached their peak right after they lost the Super Bowl a couple years ago. Since then, it has been all down hill. That is a shame because they do have some great talent, but they also have so many inconsistencies. Has any team in history re-hired a coach that they fired. Brooks has not been a winner in 5 years. Great stats don't win games, having more points than your opponent does. I read on NFL.com that they(the coaches) haven't really got a feel as to what Andrew Walter can do....what the hell was preseason for? Brooks was brought in to be the scapegoat as this team suffers through its rebuilding status.

Well, I'm not a Raiders fan, but here is my two cents: the pre-seasons doesn't count, it's just to assess your players. Good teams spend the pre-season assessing talent, and don't worry about winning a stupid exhibition game. Bad teams are bad at assessing talent. Perhaps the Raiders didn't do a good job assessing talent during the pre-season.

Not a Raider fan - but you can't go by preseason - most teams keep there starters off the field for the most part because they don't want them to get injured.

Usually, a team that does well in preseason sucks in regular season and vice versa.

By the way, I'm a Charger fan.

It has a lot to do with Aaron Brooks, he spent several years in New Orleans proving he is a crappy qb. Management(Al), coaching(Art Shell, Tom"bed &breakfast"Walsh et.al,deserve their fair of criticism also. There is plenty of blame to go around. We may possibly be seeing one of the worst teams of all time.
