i pierced my lip, and since im under 16 and my parents didnt give me the allowance to pierce it i did it myself. i desinfected th needle and bought professional jewlery, i even went to see a real piercer to check if my lip and he said it was all fine. (pls dont tell me its stupid and dangerous to pierce it myself, i know it is! please, no hating.)
but now i need to hide from my dad, my mom knows though.
everytime dad is around i take it out, at night i have it in though and half the day in school aswell.
IS IT GOING TO CLOSE UP if i keep doing it?

close up?no. but be careful if its a fresh peircing.taking the stud in and out can lead to infection.make sure you wash your hands first then clean that area daily.or try talking to your parents its not that big of a deal.its not permanent.explain to them that you will take it out whenever they are around,but get ready for them to freak cuz u did it yourself.lol!

Well.. based on my experience... u have to take it out permanently until u dont have to hide..
Your not giving it the chance to heal since u keep taking it out and yeah it will close up sooner than later. You have to stop hiding and take that out or its gonna get infected and ur dad will find out if it does.. also... if its bad enough, you'll get a lip deformaty. Take it out now and just wait till your parents let u... im 15 and I know..

I am really surprised that your parents have not noticed the hole.
The hole may close somewhat but you now will always have the indentation there.
Please let your Dad know that you have done this. Your Mother hiding the fact is enabling your lying to your Father. He may be angry at first but truth will out,,always.

after while of not having it in
yes it will close up
best way to go is get a retainer
its a clear ring thats small
and the piercing wont close up
now just make sure you clean that piercing
but it you keep taking it in and out you will get annoyed with it
and you will forget
happened to a friend
so get the retainer

dear piercing girl its not going to close up and you keep hiding it from your dad because hes going to find out sooner or later and adults like to hear it from their children

yes it will close try to see if you can get a clear retainer for the lip piercing its harder to notice
