I don't think anyone can answer that. With global warming, pollution, and other nasty atrocities, who's to say what will be around in the future or not? It's so sad I know but if things continue the way it is then most creatures will certainly be extinct.

Why would't they? Is there some particular threat to the hummingbird? I've never heard of that before....
