the rule of thumb is to wait 3 months... so they say. I was planning on waiting but I got pregnant 2 weeks after my miscarriage. I wasnt far along. My miscarriage was from march 26 - april 1st and I got pregnant on the 14th. I am 5 1/2 months prego and everything is fine.
I say do what you think is best. It really depends on your body.

It depends on the reason for the miscarriage. I had 3 miscarriages and then got pregnant with my son within a month after the 3rd one. I lost a baby girl last month at 21 weeks and my OB told me to wait at least 3 months, but we are waiting 6 months.

I would ask my doctor that one.. But it makes sense to think you need to allow your body at least 6 weeks to get back on track and heal from the miscarriage, that is how long the doc says wait after having a full term baby to have sex again, and a miscarriage is just as traumatic to your body as having a full term baby, I know, I have had both.

I think you should wait at least 2 months , just to let your body settle back before trying again. I think that would be the best thing. Good luck with all of this. I hope it works out for you.

when i miscarried a baby in the early stages i got pregnant that quick that didn`t have a period ,i initially was upset that i didn`t have intercorse for 2 weeks, this was not planned..some medical advisers would probably say wiat but it depends how you feel too as it is your body and emotions, and what if you lost again? can you handle it? ,i slightly bled at six weeks or so but the pregnancy was fine after that ,but i have bled a little when i carried girls, everyone is different

did you doctor not say or was it to early for all that, depending on when during your pregnancy it happened is how long, the further pregnant you were the longer to wait not just physical reasons but mentally too

I've always heard about 2-3 months for your body to recover. Talk to your OB about it. They can tell you when is a good time physically and mentally for you to start trying again. Good luck!

I miscarried and had to wait at least 6months, but also depends on how far into the pregnancy you were.
Because of your hormones etc
They usually say 12months for your hormones to settle down and your body to return to normal.
I'm sorry to hear your news.
If you want to talk IM me I'll be happy to talk to you
