My best was last year when I got a voucher for a massage and I got a painting, my worst was the years that I got absolutely nothing and watched my husband and kids open ALL their gifts being all excited (actually, it's such a great feeling to see other receive, but it just hurts when nobody thinks of me!)

Best thing I got was my flute a few years ago. I had been asking my parents for one for forever, and I got it. My worst was monkey pajamas and a matching robe from my grandmother last year. She and my aunt assume I like monkeys because my favorite stuffed animal is a monkey I've had since I was six months old. It was really ugly, too, but its the thought that counts.

I dont really have a "best" because I usually get great gifts every year. The worst ALWAYS comes from my uncle and his family. One year a got a knitted poncho (eww), the next year I got wool socks (yuck) last year a got a x-mas mug w/ a small stuffed bear in it. Its not that I dont appreciate the gifts but i think that they regift them to us. I did however like a make up bag they got me. it was cute but i have alot of make up so i couldnt fit all my essentials

Best? That's hard. My parents always did a wonderful job (and still do) of getting me something I wanted, regardless of if money was tight. Worst? Probably a helium air tank. (one of those that you fill balloons with.) My sister and I were supposed to share it, and I don't know why we received one since we weren't crazy for balloons. ;) Still, I appreciate that my aunt and uncle gave the gift, and did write a thank you letter. (The gift is still sitting in my garage.. I wonder if it still works...)

My best was my Cavalier Spaniel puppy two years ago. The worst are all the stupid ugly sweaters and such that I get from relatives who don't even attempt to get to know me but just want to give me something because all my other cousins get stuff.

The best was one year when friends gave me several wonderful things -- all of which I already owned! (It showed how well they knew me and how thoughtful they really were.)
The worst: when I was 13 and my grandmother gave me a toy far more suited to a toddler. What *was* she thinking?!
