I love buying antiques and have a few.....do you think the previous owner left "traces" on them? like could that person still be "attached" to it and follow that item where ever it goes? do you think they get angry/happy/sad when someone else buys it and calls it their own? has anyone had an expericence with this?

Yes there is a molecular attachment sometimes . There can also be a spiritual attachment. Try to find out as much about the item as you can before you bring it home. Be respectful of the pieces and you will be blessed with good vibes for caring.

Well, I think so. Look at this way....

Take a plant seed, plant it in a pot and measure all of the contents. Everytime you add water, measure how much water you put in it. After it has grown into a full plant, measure everything. In the end, the plant will end up weighing more than originally. Where do you think the weight came from? It is life force right? The same thing can be said in the human aspect. The earth always the same whether it turns into a gas, liquid or solid form, it's just transformed into something else. Just a thought...

YEAH, this happens -ON TV

there will be people with overactive imaginations that will tell you they had experiences - but not with that.

Assuming that this were to happen, you would have to accept its happening everywhere, not just with personal objects. It would have to happen with bathwater. The ground you walk on. The air you breathe.

OK, then ask yourself where are all those emanations from all of those millions - nay, billions - of people who have been and gone? Don't you think there would be a terribly confused miasma of spiritual noise and "traces"?

It is wishful thinking that we can somehow leave traces or parts of ourselves behind after we die - thus rendering us - at least partially - immortal.

And ask yourself: if one were forever leaving tiny bits of oneself on the objects one uses or the clothes one wears, wouldn't one be worn away by the time one were thirty????

My guess would be no. It sounds kind of creepy that people would be in bits and pieces after they're dead! lol

I don't have any personal experience with this, but I've always liked the theory that we somehow imprint ourselves upon our valuable possessions.

Making it sound like electro-magnetic something or other appeals to my left-brain side.

People do form attachments to physical objects that go beyond the grave. Most people would not be aware of it.
