thanks everyone for the warnings and am sorry about your hear attacks...

I am just consudering this and have read extensively on the literature...however nothing I read addresses how long it takes to see improvement....and how long you are on it before your period may kick in ..
that is what I was curious about...sorry if I didn't make myself clear

also yes I agree their are downsides...however I have been using soy for over 3 years, exercise, thin and am currently taking Black cohosh , and a myriad of other herbal remedies for sometime..yet I still have over 15-20 hot flashes each day with sweating and night sweats too..this is debiltating..when you drench your clothes in meetings

Hello -- I did. But if I had to do all over again, would I take
estrogen? The answer is no. The reason I say that now is
because I've had 2 heart attacks and now have 3 stents. So I think this was possible from the estrogen.

I had a hystrorectoy in 200 and was placed on estrogen. I had a heart attack in 2004 and was taken off. Did I have the heart attack from the estrogen? I don't know, but I would think twice about estrogen.
