1. It feels, like, WOW, because you can see so much better! It doesn't hurt at all, it feels perfectly natural. The only thing is that when I first started using contacts, I was afraid that if I blinked or moved my eyes they would fall out (of course, they didn't), so once I got over that, things were perfectly normal.
2. When you first put it on, it feels really moist becuase of the saline solution still on it, but it doesn't hurt at all. I mean, the first time you put it in, or if you put it in wrong, it might feel UNCOMFORTABLE, but never PAINFUL. If it does feel uncomfortable, all you have to do is blink a bit, or rub/massage your eye, and then the lens goes right back into place, and you can't feel a thing.
3. I take mine out when I shower, swim, and sleep. Different people take them out at different times, or if their eyes get tired, or if they have allergies, or something.
4. You'll have a little container and some saline solution. For lots of lenses, all you have to do is leave them in the container with the saline solution overnight, or for a certain amount of time. The solution does all of the work... but be sure to empty out the solution each time before putting the lenses in the container. Some lenses, however, you need to rub with the solution for only a short amount of time, and then you do what I have written above.
5. It affects your eyesight in a positive way... you can see!
6. If you clean your lenses everyday, take them off regularly, etc. If you DON'T clean them or take them off, then bacteria/protein, etc can accumulate, leading to different eye problems. They're healthy when you use them in the right way, if you know what I mean.
7. I think that they're much better than glasses (and not just because of cosmetic reasons!!!) Because they're right on your eye, I find that you can see sooooooo much better, and clearer, too.
8. I have never gotten a headache from my lenses, and I haven't heard of anyone who has. I guess you could, though... but in that case, just take them out.
9. It does "move around", but just barely (like, not enough to go in the back of your eye). I find that each time you blink, they will move a tiny bit, but then slide back down (this comes from oberving my eyes in the mirror, lol... otherwise, you can't feel it move, and you wouldn't know). The other way thaty they would move around is if YOU move them, by actually poking your eye and moving the lense around, or rubbing your eye.
10. Different strokes for different folks. Some touch the lense, and slide it to a corner of their eye, where they can take it out, some pinch it out (I used to slide it out, but that took a lot of time. Once I wasn't scared any more, I learned to pinch it out, and I like that a lot better. If you're scared to pinch it out, take comfort in this: sometimes, I have missed the lens and pinched my own eye... and it DOES NOT HURT A BIT)
Hope that helps!!!!

1. It's scary at first because you aren't used to touching your eye, but then magical because all of a sudden, you can finally see perfectly.
2. It should not hurt at all. If it does it is either backwards or it has something on it. ALWAYS be sure to rub solution on it before putting it in your eye. They actually had to take the "no rub" off of Opti-free solution because people started getting bacteria in their eyes as a result of this.
3.Most contacts you will take out every night. THey have some that you only use at night, and others that you can wear for weeks at a time.
4. Clean it using solution every day. I recommend Opti-free replenish.
5. No it will not affect your eyesight negatively unless you do not make sure to clean the case and the contact after and before every use. Otherwise you are opening yourself up to bacteria. Some contacts will actually permanently correct your vision(!!!), these are the kind you will wear at night.
6. sure it's healthy as long as you take precautions against bacteria and infections (keep them clean!)
7. So much better, you wouldn't believe it. It's nearly a miracle.
8. no you won't get a headache, but it may take about a week for your eyes to get used to them.
9.it can, but just don't rub your eyes and you'll be good. I've been wearing contacts for years and have only had 1 problem with that.
10. you pinch them basically and it will pop out. It takes 2 seconds.

1.You don't even feel them, I've had them since I was twelve, and they're great if you're more active.
2.It doesn't hurt if they're clean. Every once in a while there's something still on the lens and it stings, but not that bad.
3. Your eyes need oxygen, so you need let your eyes "breathe" at least two hours a day. I take mine out two hours before I go to bed and it works great.
4. You can get a no rub cleaner, I use renu no rub, from target or wal mart. You just soak them at night in the contact case.
5. As long as you don't wear them for too long, you'll be fine.
6. Yup.
7. Heck yes.
8. I guess it depends on the person, but I never have.
9. It moves with your pupil, so you look to the right and it moves as well.
10. Just pinch it off. If might sound painful, but it's really not. I caught on really quick. It might take a couple times to get the hang of it, but eventually you'll get used to it. It's completely worth it. I love mine!

I myself personally use contacts, and yes, I think they are far better than glasses. Now, answering your questions:
1. When you have just started to have contacts, people say that you may get a slight headache initally cause you're not used to it. I however, never felt that way. But honestly, you don't feel them once they are in your eye.
2. When you put it inside, you hardly feel anything. Once it's in, you feel nothing.
3. I heard that you shouldn't wear your contacts for more than 12 hours. Obviously, you're meant to take them out when you sleep otherwise your eye gets so dry...I've done it a couple times, and it's not really that pleasant. You can however, take short naps with them.
4. You clean them with contact lens solution. I personally use Renu. You just put some of the solution on the contact lens, and rub it for a few seconds, and then put it in its case.
5. I heard that it does not affect your eyesight or retina at all. However keep your nails short so that you don't accidentaly scratch your eye.
6. I haven't heard of any side affects from using contacts, and with today's technology they are so safe. So of course they are healthy...As long as you clean them.
7. I think it is better than glasses cause you don't have to worry about them once they're in. Plus, you can see everything so clearly because you can see everything around you if you know what I mean. With glasses, you can only see a fixed area due to the lens.
8. I have never gotten a headache, but it may vary from person to person.
9. It hardly ever tends to move around unless you scratch or itch your eye...It tends to move back into place though.
10. You take it out using your index finger and thumb...But don't worry, you hardly feel it.
I hope this helped.

1. Uh....
2. It hurts if I don't wash it off thoroughly enough.
3. Usually before bedtime. (You shouldn't wear them while you sleep.)
4. Most contact lens brands supply solution. Ask about it and they will show you.
5. No, I don't think so. And... the point of contact lens is to replace glasses, so it SHOULD improve your eyesight. :)
6. Dunno.
7. Depends. I don't wear contact lens very often because I often get up late and don't have time to put them in, and it's easier to just put glasses on. In addition, I have a lazy left eye (I'm legally blind in that eye) which makes it very difficult to take out the right eye lens.
8. What? No!
9. Yes, it can, but only if you rub your eyes.
10. Open your eyes wide, gently pinch the lens, and pull it out. Again, ask the people who's selling you the contact lens.

get them! they're awsome.
1. it feels weird the first time u try to put it in, but it doesn't hurt. lay down and look up and put a little drop of water in your eye. that's how it feels.
2. it doesn't hurt. it seriously feels like water, and once you get used to them after a few days, you cant even feel them.
3. you should only wear them for a few hrs the first few days if you get soft contacts so your eyes can breathe. after awhile, you can wear them all day long, but still take them out for at least a few hrs in the evening. your eyes need oxygen. if you get hard contacts, then they let your eyes breathe all the time, but they're less comfortable than soft ones.
4. you just keep them in contact lense solution in a little container when you take them out. that cleans them.
5. if you keep them clean and let ur eyes breath at least a few hrs a day, it shouldn't hurt ur eyes. i am 21 now and have been wearing them since 5th grade. my eyes are fine.
6. yep.
7. yes! glasses are annoying. when you want to lay down and read, for example, there are no glasses frames squishing against your face if you're wearing contacts instead.
8. no, u shouldnt.
9. not really. it can't fall into the back of your head or anything haha. your eyes have a natural blocker that won't allow the lenses to fall back into the eye, so you won't ever have them stuck in your eyes or anything.
10. you just slip it out w/ ur thumb and forefinger. it's very easy.
good luck :)

The soft contacts are the easiest. You can get throw aways which I always preferred. You wear them about a week and then put new ones in. I never had any problems with them but they can sometimes move off the center of you eye but it's no biggie. You just have to slide it back in place. This rarely happens unless you are swimming and get water in your eye or something like that. To take them out you just lightly pinch it. They will go over all this when you get them. Good Luck!

I wore contacts for 24 yrs. Although they were usually comfortable, I could neither sleep nor swim in them. I sometimes had trouble seeing in bright or rainy days. I just got Lasik vision correction surgery and it's the best thing I've ever done in my life.
Invest in Lasik-Intralase eye surgery(approx 2000 USD per eye) vice getting contacts. Lasik is quicker, safer, and much more comfortable and convenient than contacts or glasses. Although it's initially expensive, it's worth the money. The minimum age is 18 yrs but that's waivable.
