I'd go with the Infiniti.
Performance and luxury are just lower than the BMW, though the difference is very small.
Reliability would probably be much better in the Infiniti. BMW reliability has been pretty shoddy the last few years.
Price is where the Infiniti really wins. BMWs get expensive very fast once you start putting options on the car. You could probably get into an Infiniti for 10K less than a comparably equipped 330xi, and a good 5K less than the 328xi.
Besides that, since BMW redesigned their cars, the Infiniti also wins in the looks department, hands down.

I would go for the 2007 Infinity G35x
BMW 3's are very sporty and very small. The back seat of a G35 still has room to fit full size adults.
The BMW 330xi may be a little faster and handle a little better than a G35, but the G is going to have a nicer ride. G35 is a great performance luxury bargain. And, I am hearing great things about the new VQ35 engine that's going to be in the new G35.

In my opinion the Infinity will last longer. Once a Bimmer is out of warranty those parts and labor costs get mighty expensive.

well i love the infiniti but thats cause you can drift it, but for luxury i would go with the 328xi coupe.. i love bmw
