Hi, Iv,e been getting lower bk pain and pain in right side (may be kidneys), been to doc's and had blood test and urine test but both came bk normal. Am waiting to have ultrasound but thats not till 4 weeks time (bloody nhs). i have suffered with lots of cyctitis for the last 5yrs but never got it treated docter thinks may have damaged kidneys But dont think so as nothing bad in blood/urine test.. Has anyone had problems like this.

Go to the doc make him prescribe "tequin" antibiotics. Or see a chiropractor.

Most importantly, you need to be able to communicate exactly what is going on to your doc and you've done a very good job of that here. Suspect it is an alignment issue, but your doc will be able to advise you on how best to proceed as he will do a thorough examination, have you bend forward at the waist to assess for scoliosis, etc. He may do xrays, might have you be seen by an occupational doc. He may have you seen by physical therapy or a chiropractor. You are doing the right thing in seeing the doc.

A routine urine test only looks for infection so it does not follow that you don't have a kidney problem. However, it could just as equally be something gynaecological like a cyst or endometriosis. Go back to your doctor and see if he/she can't hurry your scan.

kidney infection? cyctitis? doe sthat mean to do with bladder too. get it chyecked. why they tellinng u 'might be' when they wont check and say 'it is'! tell em to do test t o prove damaged kidney. tehy scaring u for no reason by not testing or xraying u. tell em and if dont listen, force em to! its ur health remember not theres. tehy keep thinking of money. dont say they dont ppl, they do! seen it myself. not enough money to let u go for this xray in hospital or cant afford it etc and if they dont say it straight off, then they make excuses. we are entitled to have NHS help so get it! ur life here not theres, good luck
