Somebody told me that the Daleks levitate by harnessing the 'swarm' power of bees. Is this true? Also, I always wondered whether the doctor becomes 'more than just good friends' with his assistants?

In the show the longest standing joke was about if you wanted to outwit the Daleks you just climbed a set of stairs, but not now.
Davros was the first to use levitation in "Revelation of the Daleks" then obviously utilised this into the Imperial Dalek's, as they were first seen levitating up a flight of stairs after the then Doctor, Sylvester McCoy in the story "Remembrance of the Daleks".
As for the assistants nothing ever sexual was even thought about in the classic series it wasn't until the new series with Christopher Eccleston, at the helm was their any mention of anything more than great affection was explored with Rose, and even a kiss from Captain Jack full on the Doctor's lips, you often wonder bearing in mind most of the Doctor's crew were youngish women who surely had the same natural needs as any other woman?

Hello Just,
I'm not sure about the bees thing, i don't think its true cos inside the darlick Armour there is a little scraggy claw thing which is the darlik and i think they would be susceptible to bees and wasps if they was flying it. Errrrm i know the next assistant and shes called Lefty. Although you must keep this under your hat. And i know for a fact she wants his babies!!!!!!!!!!! don't tell her i told you though

yup. doctor did love rose. but not in a physical way. he was about to tell her when the gaps between worlds closed. erm... the dalek thing , no , they can levitate bacuse of their new master

And no, he doesnt do pysical with his assistants. Thou he had feelings for Rose (rip)
