Bella means 'beautiful' - so why not? I'm sure she is just lovely!

Yes, as long as they are two separate names, i.e. Bella is the first name and Marie is the middle name. If they are put together to make just the first name, like Mary-Ann or Sammy-Jo or something like that, i don't think it's very good. Bella by itself is a beautiful name though.

I would go with Isabelle/ Isabella so she will have a grown name when she is older. Is this kid likely to be thin and freckly - then the name won't suit at all. Marie does not turn me on. You have to imagine what you are screaming when the child has tipped all your best foundation and perfume on to the bedroom carpet.

its cute. but would you want to be a grown woman named bella marie? I know i wouldnt. Sounds like a ballet instructor, or someone married to a mobster who's financial front is a mortuary.
