Get NHL Center Ice ($149 for the whole season in US). Every Canadien game and every other game except local blackouts of course.... It's freakin' awesome.

Not online, but if you got a Star Choice satellite dish system you'll be able to watch the game on RDS (Réseau Des Sports) in french with no black outs!

I don't know about preseason games but regular season games you can--wait, I'm thinking of listening to the games on nhl.com. I thought during the playoffs there was somewhere they were showing the game. It might have been on yahoosports.com.

check they're website, some teams keep videos of games on their site. otherwise you could try hockeycanada.ca but i don't know whether they really have any videos.
