I don`t understand why he would be mad. He`s all the way in Washington for Christ sakes! Does he expect you to just wait around forever for him? It`s not like you`re in love with eachother or anything. Just like eachother. I say, go for the guy at school and he will probably get your mind off this other guy. Maintain a friends relationship with the guy in Washington and some day if he ever comes back maybe you can get together. Do you think he is in Washington just sitting there pining for you and if there was some other girl he liked he wouldn`t go for it? Don`t waste your life waiting around for a "might happen some day"> Go for what`s in front of you. If things are ever gonna happen with this Washington guy, it will happen but you shouldn`t put your life on hold for it or get stressed when he doesn`t contact you much. Just think of him as a friend only, start dating someone else and move on from him (romantically). Be his friend and go from there. Tell him you have to live while he`s gone and although you do like him, you can`t sit around waiting for him unless you have some kind of commitment to eachother other than just " I like you." " I like you too." Good luck hun! I really hope you go for it with this guy from school! You never know what could happen. Maybe he will be "the one" and sweep you off your feet and you`ll have the best relationship you ever had. Anything is possible. :-)

I've had similar cases. Well, take it from me. Go out, meet new people, friends, dates, etc. and through time you will forget about him. Perhaps he is now too busy to take your calls, answer your emails, or be on IM. Don't take it the wrong way though. Sometimes it may just be that he has a different schedule. Perhaps he's moving on, met someone else. Is good to think about him, if you'd like, but try to forget him. Just go out and meet new people. Before you know it, next time he comes to your mind, it will be like nothing ever happened.

I was making sweet love with a girl for a while last year ... then she moved to Toronoto and we talked till about March of this year, and we were planing on meeting in Canada; but for some reason I never heard from here again ... I, like you, think about her a lot but I guess some loves are just meant to linger in your heart and never go anywhere else.
