The simplest thing you can bring into class:

mould: (as in bread mould 'Rizopus stolonifer'). It reproduces both asexually and sexually. They are not animals, but you just asked for 'living things.'

But there's also:

aphids: (found on rose-bushes). Can reproduce both sexually and asexually (parthenogenesis).

(P.S., earthworms do not reproduce asexually ... they are hermaphodites ... very different.)

Sponges reproduces both sexually AND asexually
as do most flatworms, cnidarians, echinoderms (starfish), some insects (through parthenogenesis), even some vertebrates animals (there are some skinks that reproduce asexually)

Most plants and fungi also have BOTH sexual and asexual life cycles

All prokaryotes bring some bacteria that you have cultured. or an amoeba you got from pond water
